City Scape Painting
Instead of setting up a still life or using a model, our teacher had us set up our easels looking out the window, to paint the buildings across the street. Our classroom is up on the 4th floor, so it was a pretty cool view. It's hard to make buildings look interesting. There are not as many good shapes and shadows (at least on a cloudy day!)
