Also I'm in NEW YORK CITY and it is amazing and crazy. Everyone keeps asking me what it's like. I'm usually answering, "it's just like everywhere else only it's BIGGER and MORE INSANE and then somehow it's all crammed onto a very small ISLAND." That, and it takes itself VERY seriously...
Mostly I'm just wandering around the city, drawing as much as I can, trying to track down work, aquiring all the things I need for my room (drafting table, bed, etc.) and stuff like that. I've pretty much got the layout figured out at this point, so I'm zipping around on busses and subways and all that.
I'm having fun. New York is cool. People should come visit me.
