I get the best mail EVER!!!

I don't mean to brag, but I seriously get the best mail of anyone in the world. Granted, my housemate seems to only get credit card solicitations and bank statements, so maybe that just makes my mail SEEM really great. But there is no doubt that I got some seriously rad mail today:

• A sweet thank-you package from Stephanie with a bunch of CDs and Zines (her drawing of me as a bird WITH BEARD AND GLASSES pictured here!)
• A Portland postcard from my sister Galen
• A forwarded envelope from my Mom with the new Phase 7 debit card (woot woot!)

Oh, let's see... there was something else I'm forgetting that was in that package from my Mom... Hmmmm... What was it?

Oh yeah! A FRICKIN NOTE FROM ***JEFF SMITH*** (THE AUTHOR OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE COMIC BOOK EVER: BONE) SAYING THAT HE READ ONE OF MY COMIC BOOKS AND ENJOYED IT.

*cough* Okay, maybe it DOES sound like I'm bragging now--sorry! But I'm totally flipping out! For me, it was a really amazing piece of mail. Maybe the coolest piece of mail I've ever gotten! Jeff Smith is my all-time Comics hero, so getting a letter from him is such an awesome thing for me. I'm TOTALLY going to print it in the next issue of Phase 7!!!

Anyways, if any of you are feeling left out, WRITE A LETTER!!! All these people wrote to me because I wrote to THEM! It's pretty amazing to think that you can send someone a postcard within a 5,000+ mile radius (or further--HAWAII!!?!) for a friggin QUARTER. Write a letter! You'll feel better!
